七夕のシャンパーニュ茶会を開催いたしました。

今回のシャンパーニュ茶会には

いつもお世話になっている和菓子屋さんに

特別に「天の川」という上生菓子を3日間の茶会のために作っていただきました

皆さまの願いが叶いますよう

願いを込めて七夕の茶会を開催いたしました

We celebrated Tanabata with a special Champagne Tea Gathering.

For this occasion, a wagashi artisan with whom I have long had the pleasure of working created an original jo-namagashi especially for our three days of tea gatherings.

Named Amanogawa—“The Milky Way”—the confection was inspired by the celestial story of Tanabata.

With the heartfelt wish that each guest’s hopes and dreams may come true, we gathered together to celebrate this beautiful seasonal tradition over tea and Champagne.
